Macro droplet test

1st go at shooting Macro droplets.
Used glycerine instead of water for a slower droplet.
But still hard work trying to catch the droplet right and in focus. Took loads. But these are the only ones I’m ok with.
Need a remote trigger and a studier tripod. Used Canon 50D with a 24-70L Macro lens. Nissan Di700A with air remote. Shot through a Calumet 21 speedbox for background lighting.Used a remote usb battery and a couple of small usb led lights from Ikea to light the droplets. They are flexible so you can adjust them easier.

Shooting with Schmidt.

Had the pleasure of photographing Schmidt the French Bulldog today.

He came to the studio and decided he wanted to look round first.
Found the kitchen and promptly helped himself to Bobby and Benji’s leftover biscuits.

Then we managed to capture some images before like all dogs. He got bored.

Dogs new haircuts

Boys have been and had their hair cut. Unlike most dogs. Shitzu’s don’t shed their hair. They have to have it cut about every 5-6 weeks.
They look better and cooler now.

Bailey.

Bailey my grandson popped round to have his photo taken.
The little man loves having his photo taken and always has a smile for his Grampy.
Second grandchild coming any day now. 🙂

Bobby and Benji photos

Bobby and Benji popped in for a photoshoot.
Bobby (the black one) is just a poser. He’s constantly sitting on the background paper. Barking till he gets his photo taken.
Benji more reserved as the old dog he is.
They have both had haircuts since and will be back in for photos soon.
